
Jessica co-founded unladylike co. with Rachelle Miguel. With this Vancouver-based theatre company, they aim to write, produce, and perform femme-driven work. For more information, check out the unladylike co website.

unladylike co. premiered Rachelle's play and their first production The [Organization], in November 2018. Following that in May 2019, unladylike co. staged a reading of Jessica's play, bad eggs, at the rEvolver Festival. In June 2019, Rachelle and Jessica teamed up with collaborator Sarah Roa to create and perform the piece those whom fortune favours as part of HIVE 2019, presented by Magnetic North Festival and Presentation House Theatre.

Jessica began producing when she took on the role of Production Manager for The Boy Who Fell From the Sky, an adaptation of The Little Prince created for youth and general audiences that toured the Lower Mainland. Following that, Jessica Production Managed for rice & beans theatre on two of their shows, Mis Papás, a bilingual play by Pedro Chamale based on the story of his parents and set as a boxing match, and Loomings; Or, the Whale, a loose adaptation of Moby Dick by Derek Chan.

For their 2017/18 season, Jessica was the Artistic Associate at Rumble Theatre, where she enhanced her producing skills through mentorship from Interim Managing Producer Laura Efron and Managing Producer Christie Watson.
